Sudan - 2008
A group of five women intended to travel to New (South) Sudan on January 3rd to teach microbusiness skills to women. I was (and am) honored and excited to be a part of the group. I was compelled to postpone the trip after the violence in Kenya began. We were to be in Kenya for three days on the way to/from Sudan. We will reschedule the trip in the week or so, hopefully for late March or April. I’ll let you know!

I am amazed at how God makes connections. I have a close friend who was going to spend a year in Kenya, working with SIM. Her trip was delayed 2-3 times before being canceled due to the violence over there. She is being re-routed to Zambia instead.
If you are ever back on my blog, I have a link to her, Gwen Modert.
Thank you for your comment, and I can tell already that I will enjoy looking through your site!
